FAQ

Questions, answered

Can I keep the original aspect ratio?Open

Yes. Aspect lock is on by default. Change width or height and the other side updates automatically.

What is the maximum size?Open

You are limited by your device memory, not by a server quota. Very large panoramas may need a desktop browser.

Can I type 1 KB, 2 MB, or 1 GB?Open

Yes. Type 1, 2, 3 or 1.5 and pick KB, MB, or GB. You can also type 50kb or 2mb in the box. The file will be at or under that size.

Does resizing reduce file size?Open

Pixel resize usually shrinks the file. For a hard cap, type the size you need in the box on this page.

Are images uploaded?Open

No. Resize runs locally with the Canvas API.
